Salah (also salat in Urdu (Arabic: صلاة, Qur'anic Arabic: صلوة) is the ritual prayer practised by Muslims in supplication to Allah. The term is commonly used to refer to the five daily prayers, which are compulsory upon all mature Muslims. Salah (plural salawat) is considered the most important act of worship in Islam and its importance is such that under very few circumstances can it be omitted.

Salah is one of the Five Pillars of Islam in Sunni Islam and one of the ten Practices of the Religion in Shia Islam. In central and south Asian languages such as Persian, Urdu, Hindi and Turkic languages it is commonly known by the term namāz (نماز).
The person performing salah is termed a musallee (مصلى), while the traditional prayer mat on which prayer is performed is called a Masjid or Mosques. A place where Muslims come 5 times in a day called Masjid and Musalla where people dont go very often such as journey, market place. Salah is mandotry on every muslim after the age of 7 except scenceless. Salah is the 2nd pillar of Islam. All revelation sent on to Hazrat Muhammad Alahy-is-salam on the earth but Allah Subaha-na-hu-wa-ta-alaa called his beloved messenger on the 7th sky and gave the salah as a gift. Salah is just not name of excersie it is a comadment from Allah Tala and every muslim will be asked about his/her Salah. The friends of Hazrat Muhammad alay-slam called Sahabi used to perform Salah whenever they had problem and put their problem in front of Allah Tala.
