Tyukalinsky District

Tyukalinsky District (Russian: Тюкали́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the western central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 6,400 square kilometers (2,500 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Tyukalinsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 14,831 (2010 Census);[3] 19,128 (2002 Census);[6] 22,430 (1989 Soviet census).[7]
