Tomsky District

Tomsky District (Russian: То́мский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the sixteen in Tomsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 10,064.2 square kilometers (3,885.8 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the city of Tomsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 68,652 (2010 Census);[3] 85,888 (2002 Census);[7] 92,340 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
