Tavastians

Tavastians (Finnish: hämäläiset; Swedish: Tavaster) are a historic people and a modern subgroup (heimo) of the Finnish people. They live in areas of the historical province of Tavastia (Finnish: Häme) and speak Tavastian dialects.
