Tamenglong district (Meitei pronunciation:[lower-alpha 2] /tæmɛŋˈlɒŋ/[1]) is one of the 16 districts of Manipur state in northeastern India.[2] In 2011, Tamenglong was the least populous district in Manipur.[3] In 2016, the Nungba subdivision was separated as a separate district.[4]
