An IP using persom keeps adding back that G. T. Road was built by Mauryan Empire when actual research shows it was present long before that. The sources he uses are nothing more than travel authors like Roads and Kingdoms or National Geographic using another travel writer Salman Rashid who is not a historian but a fellow of Royal Geographical Society. How can anyone consider them an expert on topic of history? SainiRori (talk) 09:24, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

The Grand Trunk Road, a national highway, is one of the oldest road routes in India. It runs through Haora to Pakistan and is the main route connecting the city with northern India. National highways also connect Kolkata with the west coast of India, the northern part of West Bengal and the frontier with Bangladesh. 45.117.64.206 (talk) 08:45, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
