Taizo Mikazuki (三日月 大造, Mikazuki Taizō, born 24 May 1971) is a Japanese politician and the current governor of Shiga Prefecture, having been elected to the position in July 2014.[1] He previously served in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) as a member of the Democratic Party of Japan.
