Tachypleus gigas, commonly known as the Indo-Pacific horseshoe crab,[3] Indonesian horseshoe crab,[4] Indian horseshoe crab,[5] or southern horseshoe crab,[6] is one of the four extant (living) species of horseshoe crab.
