A lifeboat was first stationed here by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1867.[1]
Since 1998, the station has operated a Severn-class All-weather lifeboat, 17-16 Violet, Dorothy and Kathleen (ON 1236).[2]
