Sigurdur Helgason (airline executive)

Sigurður Helgason (July 20, 1921 – February 8, 2009) was an innovator in low-cost airlines.[1]
Helgason is credited with pioneering the "hippie airline", Loftleiðir, that made low-cost air travel to Europe possible for generations of Americans.[1]
