Sharof Rashidov District

"Sharof Rashidov District" may also refer to the former name of Sardoba District

Sharof Rashidov District (until 2016: Jizzakh District) is a district of Jizzakh Region in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at the town Uchtepa.^[1] It has an area of 1,320 km² (510 sq mi)^[2] and its population is 223,100 (2020 est.).^[3]

The district consists of 7 urban-type settlements (Uchtepa, Gandumtosh, Qorayantoq, Qangʻli, Toqchiliq, Mulkanlik, Jizzaxlik) and 12 rural communities.^[1]
