Sevsky District

Sevsky District (Russian: Се́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,220 square kilometers (470 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Sevsk.[1] Population: 14,159 (2021 Census);[7] 16,923 (2010 Russian census);[3] 18,759 (2002 Census);[8] 20,946 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Sevsk accounts for 47.5% of the district's total population.[7]
