Sayran (Kazakh: Сайран, Saıran) is a man-made lake and reservoir in Almaty, Kazakhstan.[1] During a 2011 summary meeting mayor of Almaty Akhmetzhan Yessimov announced that an oceanarium may be constructed at the lake.[2]
