Rushanara Ali (Bengali: রওশন আরা আলী; born 14 March 1975) is a British politician who has served as a Member of Parliament (MP) since 2010 and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government since July 2024.[1] A member of the Labour Party, she was the first British Bangladeshi elected to Parliament.
