Priya made her acting debut with the television show Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (2014-2016), which won her the Vijay Television Award for Best Find of the Year. She started her film career with the commercially successful Tamil film Meyaadha Maan (2017).[4] She has since appeared in successful films such as Kadaikutty Singam (2018), Monster (2019), Mafia: Chapter 1, Yaanai (2022), Thiruchitrambalam (2022), Pathu Thala (2023) andIndian 2 (2024). For Kadaikutty Singam, she received Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Tamil nomination.[5]
