Pelago is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,396 and an area of 54.8 square kilometres (21.2 sq mi).[3]
