Ozinsky District

Ozinsky District (Russian: Озинский райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,100 square kilometers (1,600 sq mi).^{[citation needed]} Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Ozinki.^[2] Population: 19,147 (2010 Census);^[3] 23,568 (2002 Census);^[8] 26,603 (1989 Soviet census).^[9] The population of Ozinki accounts for 48.3% of the district's total population.^[3]
