Origgio (Lombard: Origg [uˈritʃ]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Milan and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,777 and an area of 8.1 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).[3]
