National Folklore Cultural Heritage (Korean: 국가민속문화재; Hanja: 國家民俗文化財) is a national-level designation within the heritage preservation system of South Korea. It is intended to preserve customs, objects, places, and buildings that are important to Korean folklore.[1][2]
The designation attempts to protect things considered important or important for understanding the daily life, business, transportation, communication, entertainment, socializing, religion, or events of Korea.[2]
