Moufida Tlatli (Tunisian Arabic: مفيدة التلاتلي; 4 August 1947 – 7 February 2021) was a Tunisian film director, screenwriter, and editor.[1][2][3][4] She is best known for her breakthrough film The Silences of the Palace,[5][6][7][8] which won several international awards and was praised by critics.
