MidAmerica Industrial Park (MAIP), which is Oklahoma's largest industrial park, the third-largest industrial park in the United States, and the eighth-largest industrial park in the world, is located in Pryor, Oklahoma.[1][2] In 2023, over 80 firms were located within the park including operations of five Fortune 500 companies such as Google, DuPont and Nordam, employing more than 4,500 people and generating more than $732 million in salaries and wages each year.[3][4][5][2] The park was founded in 1960, when the US Federal Government sold most of the former Oklahoma Ordnance Works to a public trust, the Oklahoma Ordnance Works Authority.[6] The rural park covers 9,000 acres (36 km2) and is located 47 miles (76 km) east of Tulsa, Oklahoma.[7]
