In this Philippine name, the middle name or maternal family name is Castillon and the surname or paternal family name is Ranillo.
Matias Castillon Ranillo Sr. (February 28, 1898 – December 18, 1947) was a Governor of then Province of Zamboanga and later Congressman of the lone Legislative District of Zamboanga during the 1st Congress of the Commonwealth of the Philippines.[1] During the Japanese occupation in World War II, he was made Military Governor of the province.
