Majlis Al-Noor or majlisunnoor, majlisunnur[1][2][3](Arabic: مجلس النور) is a Badr Bait (Badriyyatul Mankhusvi Iyya) which is recited by tradition, is recited in Majlis Al-Noor. Majlisnoor started in 2017 Malappuram district,[4][5] Kerala, India, Sayed Hyderali Shihab Thangal as per their spiritual consent. It was designed and launched by SYS[clarification needed] - Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama (of EK Sunnis).[6]
These baits consist of sixty lines reciting the names of Badrims. At the beginning, seven Al-Fatiha are recited.[4]
Seven fatwis were prescribed. After reciting the Baits and finally reciting Ya-Sin.
