Jharkhand Mukti Morcha supremo Shri Shibu Soren took action, expelled MLA Lobin Hembram for 6 years from the party. This decision comes after Mr. Hembrom decided to contest the upcoming 2024 Indian General Election from the Rajmahal Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate, going against the party's coalition discipline and allegedly misleading party workers.[7]
