List of near threatened reptiles

As of September 2016, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) lists 329 near threatened reptile species.[1] 6.4% of all evaluated reptile species are listed as near threatened. The IUCN also lists two reptile subspecies as near threatened.

- Critically endangered (CR): 196 species
- Endangered (EN): 382 species
- Vulnerable (VU): 411 species
- Near threatened (NT, LR/cd): 329 species
- Least concern (LC): 2,900 species

- 4220 of those are fully assessed[lower-alpha 1]
- 3229 are not threatened at present[lower-alpha 2]
