Lgov (Russian: Льгов, IPA: [ˈlʲɡof]) is a town in Kursk Oblast, Russia, located on both banks of the Seym River (Desna's tributary) 80 kilometers (50 mi) west of Kursk. Population: 17,557 (2021 Census);[6] 21,453 (2010 Russian census);[2] 23,783 (2002 Census);[7] 25,643 (1989 Soviet census);[8] 26,000 (1972).
