Langarud-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان لنگارود غربی) is in the Central District of Abbasabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Valikestan.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Abbasabad District was separated from Tonekabon County in the establishment of Abbasabad County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Abbasabad as its capital.[3]
At the National Census of 2011, its population was 2,818 inhabitants in 831 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,011 in 831 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Pasandeh-ye Olya, with 711 people.[2]
