Kotelnichsky District

Kotelnichsky District (Russian: Коте́льничский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,940 square kilometers (1,520 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Kotelnich (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 15,799; (2010 Russian census)[3] 20,507 (2002 Census);[7] 27,712 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
