Kobara

For the Japanese footballer, see Shogo Kobara.

Kobara was a town of ancient Paphlagonia, inhabited in Byzantine times.^[1] The name does not occur among ancient authors but is inferred from epigraphic and other evidence.^[1]

Its site is located near Doğantepe, Asiatic Turkey.^[1][2]
