Kangaatsiaq (Greenlandic pronunciation: [kaŋaːtsiɑq], old spelling: Kangâtsiaq) is a town located in the Qeqertalik municipality in western Greenland. The town received town status as recently as 1986, though as a settlement it has existed much longer.
