Kalachinsky District

Kalachinsky District (Russian: Калачинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Kalachinsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 18,197 (2010 Census);[3] 21,810 (2002 Census);[7] 22,812 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
