Kadiyala Ramachandra

Kadiyala Ramachandra (1919-2007) was an Indian medical doctor, poet,[1] a former superintendent of the Government General Hospital, Chennai and a former head of the department of medicine at Madras Medical College.[2] His efforts were reported behind the establishment of the Department of Oncology & Cancer Chemotherapy and the Rheumatic Care Unit at the General Hospital.[2] He was a recipient of the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri in 1974.[3]
