Kabylia or Kabylie[2] (/kəˈbɪliə/; Kabyle: Tamurt n Leqbayel or Iqbayliyen, meaning "Land of Kabyles", Arabic: منطقة القبائل, meaning "Land of the Tribes") is a mountainous coastal region in northern Algeria[3] and the homeland of the Kabyle people.
