Jonathan (Yonatan) Yavin (born June 17, 1972), is an Israeli author of 18 books,[1] for children, young adults and fiction. He is also a public speaker and lecturer, journalist, columnist, translator, op-ed writer[2] and radio host. His books have been translated into English, Arabic, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Croatian. He is the recipient of the Israeli Prime Minister literary Award[3] 2012. As journalist, he wrote mainly for Haaretz[4] and Yedioth Ahronoth.[5]
