Joseph Russell Jones (born October 29, 1962) is an American football coach and former player. His previous role was as the former special teams coordinator at Mississippi State for two seasons, hired by head coach, Joe Moorehead. Jones served as the head football coach at the University of South Alabama from 2008 to 2017.
