Janów Podlaski (Polish: [ˈjanuf pɔdˈlaskʲi]) is a town in Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Janów Podlaski. It lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Biała Podlaska and 115 km (71 mi) north-east of the regional capital Lublin.
