J. Robert Hayes

J. Robert Hayes (born February 28, 1932)[1][2] is an American politician.[3][4] He served as a Republican member for the 39th district of the California State Assembly.[1][5]

Hayes was born in Glendale, California.[1][2] Hayes went to school in Los Angeles,[1] and then attended Los Angeles City College.[1] Hayes served in the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps Reserve.[1] In 1978, he was elected for the 39th district of the California State Assembly.[5] Hayes succeeded Jim Keysor. In 1980, he was succeeded by Richard Katz.
