Indio is a census-designated place (CDP) in Starr County, Texas, United States. It is a new CDP, formed from part of the Falcon Heights CDP prior to the 2010 census, with a population of 50.[1]
Indio is located at 26°32′56″N 99°5′45″W (26.548877, -99.095866[2]).
Indio was first listed as a census designated place in the 2010 U.S. Census,[14] one of four new CDPs (Falconaire, H. Cuellar Estates, Indio, Lago Vista) carved out from the Falcon Heights CDP.[15]

The CDP is within the Roma Independent School District.[18] The zoned elementary school for the 2010 Census community is Emma Vera Elementary School.[19] Roma High School is the district's sole comprehensive high school.
