Hansanagari also known as Hansot, is a village in Bharuch district, Southern Gujarat,[1] India. It is about 15.0 km (9.3 mi) southwest of the city of Bharuch, and south of the Narmada River. The village and its surrounding taluka were acquired by the British in 1775, and subsequently returned to the local princely rulers in 1783, being finally incorporated into the Broach district of the Bombay Presidency in 1803.[2][3]
