Gurnam Singh (soldier)

Naib Subedar Gurnam Singh, AC (18 August 1935 – 23 September 1973) was a Junior Commissioned officer (JCO) in Indian Army who was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India's highest peacetime military decoration for his self sacrifice in a mine explosion.[1]
