Gejlarat-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان گچلرات غربي)[3][lower-alpha 1] is in Aras District of Poldasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[5] It is administered from the city of Nazok-e Olya.[6]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Poldasht District of Maku County) was 6,138 in 1,398 households.[7] There were 4,020 inhabitants in 958 households at the following census of 2011,[8] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Poldasht County.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,272 in 1,056 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Chakhmaqlui-ye Sofla, with 1,687 people.[2]
