Gaysky District

Gaysky District (Russian: Га́йский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,900 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Gay[2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[10] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 10,331.[4]
