Fès-Meknès or Fez-Meknes (Arabic: فاس-مكناس, romanized: fās maknās) is among the twelve Regions of Morocco. It has a population of 4,236,892 (2014 census).[1] Its capital is Fez.[2] Its current president is Mohand Laenser, and its current wali (governor) is Said Zniber.[citation needed]
