Francisco de Melo Franco

Francisco de Melo Franco[lower-alpha 1] (17 September 1757 – 22 July 1822) was a Colonial Brazilian physician, a pioneer in the field of puericulture and one of the most important court physicians in Portugal in his day.[1] He was the author of several works in the fields of medicine and political philosophy.
