Pakistan is an ethnically and linguistically diverse country.[3][4] The major Pakistani ethnolinguistic groups include Punjabis, Pashtuns, Sindhis, Gujjar,[5][6] Saraikis, Muhajirs, Balochs, Paharis[lower-alpha 1] and Brahuis,[7][note 1] with significant numbers of Baltis, Kashmiris, Chitralis, Shina, Kohistanis, Torwalis, Hazaras, Burusho, Wakhis, Kalash, Siddis, Uzbeks, Nuristanis, Pamiris, Hindkowans, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Uyghurs and other various minorities.[9][10]
