Dehdez (Persian: دهدز)[lower-alpha 1] is a city in the Central District of Dezpart County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving capital of both the county and the district.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,610 in 651 households, when it was part of the former Dehdez District of Izeh County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,920 residents in 994 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,490 people in 1,312 households.[2]
In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of the new Dezpart County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Dehdez as its capital and only city.[4]
