D-alanine—(R)-lactate ligase (EC 6.1.2.1, VanA, VanB, VanD) is an enzyme with systematic name D-alanine:(R)-lactate ligase (ADP-forming).[1][2][3] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction
