Cogorno (Italian: [koˈɡorno], Ligurian: [kuˈɡuɾnu]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,316 and an area of 9.1 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).[3]
