Cheremisinovsky District

Cheremisinovsky District (Russian: Череми́синовский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 813 square kilometers (314 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Cheremisinovo.[1] Population: 7,804 (2021 Census);[7] 10,347 (2010 Russian census);[3] 12,431 (2002 Census);[8] 14,160 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Cheremisinovo accounts for 43.1% of the district's population.[7]
