Checkered Past (TV programming block)

Checkered Past is an American television programming block on Adult Swim that broadcasts older Cartoon Network original series from the 1990s and 2000s, including those belonging to the Cartoon Cartoons brand.[2][3] The two-hour block launched on August 28, 2023, marking Adult Swim's expansion into evening hours, and originally ran Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET/PT. As of May 31, 2024, Checkered Past now runs Monday through Thursday, with the Friday slot being replaced by the newly launched Toonami Rewind.[4][5]

In July 2024, Andy Merrill announced a puppet version of Space Ghost character Brak will appear on Checkered Past in late 2024.[6]
Checkered Past also airs on the Latin American version of Adult Swim, which launched on October 31, 2023.[7]
